Collaborators Description


The Permanent Way Institution (PWI) is for Railway Track Engineers and those involved in the design, construction and maintenance of the every type of rail track, including Railways, Tramways, Docks and Harbours. It was founded in 1884 and has members encompassing everyone from trackmen to civil engineers and consultants.The objectives of the PWI are to advance the knowledge of Railway Civil Engineering, in particular relating to Track and Infrastructure. We aim to promote, spread and exchange such knowledge amongst those who work for Railways and Rail Systems worldwide and those who work for the supply and service companies, encompassing all related disciplines.
