YRP RSA Tie up

YRP is delighted to announce its new partnership with the Railway Study Association.

The Railway Study Association has been an integral part of the fabric of the UK rail industry since it was founded over 100 years ago and is a voluntary, member based organisation that provides a dynamic forum for the exchange of experience, knowledge and opinion on issues relating to all aspects of the rail industry. Its membership is drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and expertise, embracing operations, engineering, business planning, project management and consultancy. The Railway Study Association seeks to achieve its objectives by arranging a variety of lecture meetings, networking events, seminars, visits to railway facilities, circulars/industry updates, mentoring and study tours, both in the UK and overseas. The Railway Study Association has enjoyed speakers from the highest level of leaders across the rail industry, many of these events being very much “must attend” gigs!

As part of our tie-up, we are offering FREE basic introductory membership to the Railway Study Association for our members, which includes access to its events and programmes, as well as discounts on overseas tours and its renowned Annual Dinner on 13 April in London. YRP members can also enjoy an amazing discount on full membership which includes all of the above plus free subscription to “Modern Railways” magazine. This costs just £30 for YRP members.

To qualify for membership, please email info@railwaystudyassociation.org with your name and address, and state whether you wish to have the Basic or Full membership package.

Speaking of the partnership, YRP Chairman, Stephen Head commented, “We are privileged to strike this partnership with such a well respected organisation and are excited that YRP members can benefit from the insights, opportunities and learning provided by the Railway Study Association and its very experienced members”. Railway Study Association, Chief Executive, Alex Warner is equally excited, commenting “it’s great for our members to be part of such a fabulous organisation as the YRP, I am sure this will enrich our own membership experience and I am looking forward to the YRP team enjoying the benefits of joining up with us. It really is hugely exciting”.
