Your personal brand and how to get the most out of your LinkedIn connections

In association with YRP East Midlands, Enspired Consulting, and Octavius Infrastructure, The Mental Wealth Company is delighted to host an informal chat with Lucy Prior, who will talk to you about their life and experiences in the Rail Industry. More specifically Lucy will share her story on how she has developed her personal brand over the years, and how she has used LinkedIn to develop her network.

Lucy is Rail Development Lead at Octavius, and an active advocate for the YRP, Women in Rail and a non-exec advisor to The Mental Wealth Company. As someone who was heavily involved with YRP v1.0 she is delighted to still be supporting a community that she herself has benefitted from. She has a passion for all things people and supply chain, and across her almost twenty years in rail has grown a network of contacts that has helped her develop and convey her personal brand (a phrase that she says "gives her the ick but that I completely acknowledge the importance of"). Lucy asks that anyone attending this session drops her a connect request in advance and considers comes prepared with a personal anecdote for some practical practice on the day, because anyone that knows Lucy knows she actively invites audience participation.

This lunchtime event, in the BeEnspired series, will be held at the TMWC office on Pride Park on Wednesday 12th November, from 12:00-13:30. This will be another excellent opportunity to meet brilliant rail professionals and talk about their career and personal journey in the rail industry, as well as networking with peers.
