BeEnspired with YRP East Midlands: The Human Factors #BeEnspired is back with another event for YRP East Midlands. This time we will be learning about the Human Factors in the rail industry. We are extremely happy to announce that this session will be hosted by Fiona Bird from Pendyne, alongside Helen Simpson. Fiona Bird has broad experience of the rail industry through consultancy, major projects, international work and integrating human factors (HF) into complex engineering programmes. She was Global Head of HF for Bombardier for 4 years, building a global team and integrating HF into a range of engineering projects. She returned to consultancy in 2021, joining Pendyne to grow the business and build a team of HF Specialists to fill resource gaps and respond to HF challenges across rail in rolling stock, signalling and depots. This is a great opportunity for those who are new to the industry or just want to learn more and network with other leading industry professionals.
