Meet Our Panel:

Alex Lane

I have had the privilege of a varied career to date, one that has given me many great opportunities to learn from those I’ve met along the way. Since joining Jacobs in 2012 I have held a number of operations and sales roles, working across several of the markets we operate.  I worked on everything from schools, football stadiums, the  i360  to HS2.   My current role is the Head of Operations for the Transportation Operating Unit; a role I enjoy enormously, one where every day is different.  I studied Mechanical Engineering, earning CEng a few years later through my first, and formative, career step – where I served as an Engineering Officer in the British Army.  I’m married to Laura, have 2 near-teenagers, and 5 chickens.
