During this engaging and interaction session we will explore some practical tools to manage pressure, stay focussed during long or irregular shifts, and keep your energy levels where they need to be.

YRP East Midlands, in conjunction with Enspired Consulting, The Mental Wealth Company and Enigma Seven, are happy to announce another great event coming up in Derby. This is another perfect opportunity for young rail professionals to expand their network and learn important skills to further your career in the rail industry.

Meet Wendy McCristal who will be running the event. She is a wellbeing and resilience specialist working at the intersection of high-performance industries and mental health. With a background in engineering and human factors and experience supporting safety-critical environments, she understands the unique pressures faced by rail professionals—from shift work and fatigue to maintaining focus in high-stakes situations. Through practical, no-nonsense strategies, Wendy helps individuals build mental strength, stay sharp, and perform at their best—on and off the track.
