On the railways, openly available live tracking systems can sometimes provide realtime information quicker than to hardworking staff, particularly when things go wrong.
Information is a powerful tool in the armoury for customer service as it is possible to fully inform passengers of problems, how to deal with them and how long they might be affected.
We have a panel of guest speakers from across the rail industry who can share their experience, ideas and solutions on how to improve the customer experience.
