Young Rail Tours
Young Rail Tours (YRT) was founded in May 2019 on the belief
of the importance in creating opportunities for young professionals
within the rail industry to build experiences, develop new skills and
create global networks, in order to best prepare them for their careers
within rail.
Within the UK rail industry, Domestic and European railway study tours, catered towards young professionals have been proven to be extremely popular and are often oversubscribed.
In order to provide access to more ambitious International study tours, on top of Domestic and European tours, Young Rail Tours strive to provide Affordable, Accessible and Inspirational programmes for young professionals
working within the UK Rail Industry.
By developing these tours in collaboration with our partners and networks, YRT aims to improve the UK Rail Industry through professional development of its younger professionals, forging links and networks with those across industry at
home and abroad.
In addition, YRT believes in forging these links between the future leaders of the UK rail industry and our colleagues around the world, building life-long relationships that will benefit the global rail community.
As well as creating opportunities for young rail professionals based in the UK to visit and learn from railway networks around the world, we are pleased to host groups from other countries and facilitates tour activities for them, in order
to help visiting colleagues experience the best that the UK rail industry has to offer.
