As part of an ongoing commitment to achieving Rail decarbonisation targets in the U.K. the team at Angel Trains is developing hybrid technology, that can lower emissions, reduce noise pollution and shorten journey times on routes that are yet to be electrified.

One example of this is the self-charging Class 165 hybrid project serves as an impactful intermediary solution to significantly reduce emissions by bridging the gap between diesel and full electrified rail, as the entire industry progresses towards a net-zero carbon future.
