The North East Committee are happy to host the YRP's contribution to Time to Talk Day. Everyone is welcome! Time to Change - A mental health charity - have set up their Time to Talk day to encourage people around the nation to get talking about mental health. We are happy to host one of these sessions to give you the opportunity to take part. We will be hosting this call on zoom and grouping people into smaller breakout rooms to avoid everyone talking over each other! The Power of Small A small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.
We know that the more conversations we have, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down, helping to end the isolation, shame and worthlessness that too many of us with mental health problems are made to feel.
Time to Talk Day is the day that we get the nation talking about mental health. This year’s event might look a little different, but at times like this open conversations about mental health are more important than ever.
We need your help to start the conversation this Time to Talk Day – together we can end mental health stigma. So if you want to come along to discuss mental health, speak to some different people, vent about someone you work with (to people who don't know them) or just be listened to; join us at 12 Noon on the 4th of February! Look Forward to Speaking with you then! Here is the link to join, I will also email this to registered attendees: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8365401210?pwd=ZTB4VXVldkxOblZ5WFlVdWNkeW1pdz09
