I'm extremely happy to welcome Garry Keenor, Group Electrification Engineer for Atkins and author of the free online publication "Overhead Line Electrification for Railways". In his role he acts as Atkins's Technical Authority for overhead line systems. In this talk he will discuss the work that is being done across industry to reduce the cost of electrification and deliver a rolling programme, and will showcase some of the simulation and monitoring work that Atkins is doing to support that goal.
