Many of us struggle when it comes to talking about our own accomplishments. Cultural and gender modesty norms as well as impostor syndrome can prevent anyone from acknowledging their remarkable attributes and expressing their achievements. International Women’s Day, 8th of March, this year’s theme, #ChooseToChallenge, represents one of the core messages of #IamRemarkable.

#IamRemarkable is a Google initiative empowering women and other underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond. The goals of #IamRemarkable are:

  1. Improve the self promotion motivation and skills of women and underrepresented groups
  2. Challenge the social perception around self promotion

During the workshop, you will learn the importance of self-promotion in your personal and professional life and be equipped with tools to develop this skill. Attendees will be invited to challenge both theirs and society's perception around self-promotion.

Spots are limited. Attendees shall be sent an online meeting invite prior to the event.

We are only accepting YRP members for this event, but don't worry membership is FREE! Just follow the registration and then sign in links.
