Join the Yorkshire and North East YRP committee for a volunteering day at Esk Valley Line Thursday, the 23rd of September! 

We will be helping at the Glaisdale station with various tasks, such as, but not limited to, painting, gardening and general sprucing.

The event is free to attend, but you are responsible to sort out your travelling.

Plan for the day (by train, but feel free to drive if you prefer):

Travel Details: Arrive in Glaisdale 11:21 on the 10:19 from Middlesbrough. This is an 08:08 departure from Leeds (Change Darlington and Middlesbrough), 08:44 from York (Change Darlington and Middlesbrough) and 08:40 departure from Newcastle (Change Middlesbrough)

Depart Glaisdale 16:27 arriving to Middlesbrough 17:30 , arrive back in Leeds 19:43 (Change Middlesbrough), York at (Change Middlesbrough and Darlington) and Newcastle 18:50 (Direct!)

Lunch will be available, please let us know when signing if you have any dietary requirements. If you forget, just send us an email later.

Toilets (including a disabled toilet) is available at the train station.

Esk Valley Railway Development Company is a not for profit organisation running the Esk Valley line and will host us for the day
