Ahead of the introduction of Transport for Wales' new fleet of trains in December 2022, we've secured a fantastic opportunity for a behind-the-scenes preview! 

Situated next to the new South Wales Metro Control Centre, the recently-opened engagement facility showcases versions of the CAF Civity 197, Stadler CityLink Tram-Train 398 and a saloon section of the Stadler Flirt 231/756.

Following the tour, led by YRP's very own Jamie Warner, you are welcome to join us at the nearby Gwalelod-y-Garth Inn for refreshments.

Important Information

• Due to safety restrictions, spaces are capped at 14 attendees and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis
• We will meet at Taffs Well Railway Station, which is located next to the engagement facility (further information will be provided in advance of the tour)
• Personal Protective Equipment is not required (we will advise you on any relevant requirements in advance of the tour)
