Courtesy of GTR and the East Coast Digital Programme the YRP is able to offer an unique opportunity to have a drive on GTR’s driver training simulators at Blackfriars. We are able to offer two sessions that will look at the basics of how drivers drive trains using AWS and TPWS today, and how they will drive in ETCS level 2 in the future. There’ll also be an opportunity to learn about GTR’s role in the East Coast Digital Programme.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

This both sessions will last approximately 2 and a half hours and take place on Thursday 19th May 2022 at London Blackfriars Station.

The times for each session are:

• Session 1: 15:00 - 17:30 (7 people)

• Session 2: 18:00 - 20:30 (8 people)

Please note: People who have not participated in this activity before will be given priority over those who have already completed a session in the interests of fairness and giving everyone the opportunity to experience this fantastic event.
