The adventure starts with a direct flight to Delhi, then you'll climbing aboard an overnight train to Pathankot. Arriving to the calm contrast of rural northern India, you'll spend the next five days trekking through the foothills of the world's highest mountain range to Dharamsala. The challenging route takes in the local village life and stunning scenery of this pristine and unspoilt corner of the world and includes a chance to visit the home of the Dalai Lama. The Himalayan Trek is being organised as a partnership between Railway Children and Global Adventure Challenges.
