YRP London and South East present: A Tour of SPX Flow Rail Systems and how UK’s most widely used Point Operating Equipment and Level Crossing Barriers are made 
By attending this site visit you will learn about the importance and manufacturing of: - Clamplocks (Point Operating Equipment)
- Level Crossing Barriers
- Supplementary Detectors
You will meet the team responsible for supplying Network Rail’s critical signalling equipment as well as behind the scenes look at how SPX Flow design, assemble and supply these products. You will have an opportunity to ask the team questions as well as an open ear to hear your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas how SPX Flow can do better. Agenda - 14:00 – 14:15: Arrival and safety brief
- 14:15-14:30: Introduction to SPX Flow, the products, use cases and why they are essential to a functioning railway
- 14:30-15:00: Tour of Clamplock and hydraulic power pack assembly line (manual assembly)
- 15:00-15:25: Tour of Level Crossing Barrier assembly line (manual assembly) and goods in/out
- 15:30: End
Safety Requirements (PPE) - Must bring your own safety boots
- Must wear safety glasses, if you cannot bring your own spares may be provided on arrival
- Hi-viz vest recommended but not essential, no other high-viz required

The nearest station Dagenham Dock. The walk from the station should only be 8-10 mins, if it takes longer you are going the long way, follow the route below if in doubt: - On arrival exit the station and head towards and through Chequers Lane (road under the fly-over), take your immediate right when you see a security booth and barriers. No need to stop at security unless you need directions.
- Walk through the industrial estate.
- At the top of the road you will notice hedges on your left along the fence, you will then see a metal walkway opposite Worldwide logistics, take the walkway, SPX Flow carpark on your left.
- Ring the bell in the lobby and wait for a member of staff to assist you.
