A cross between It’s a Knockout and The Krypton Factor, The Big Rail Diversity Challenge provides a platform for team-building and networking with participants, in diverse and gender-balanced teams, go head-to-head in a mixture of fun mental, physical and skill-based challenges.

Since its launch in 2016, the event has captured the hearts and minds of the industry – demonstrating the passion, support and enthusiasm for the remarkable work spearheaded by Women in Rail.

Growing by a staggering 120% since its inception, The Big Rail Diversity Challenge has become a staple in the industry’s events calendar, with many key stakeholders showing continued support throughout the years.

Marie Daly, Chair of Women in Rail and Chief Customer & Culture Officer for Transport for Wales said: "Women in Rail envision an industry of diversity and equality and The Big Rail Diversity Challenge continues to champion this ideal.

Next year's Big Rail Diversity Challenge is being held at Newark Showground on 19 June, 2024.
