Join YRP London & South East for our December social which will be a walk to explore some Winter Markets! It'll be a great opportunity for everyone to socialise whilst exploring the vibrant and festive atmosphere. Have a nosy around the market stalls, pick up some Christmas presents, enjoy the delicious food and drink some hot chocolate or mulled wine!

We'll meet at London Bridge Station and start with the Winter by the River market, then we'll slowly make our way down the river to South Bank to explore the Southbank Centre Winter Market. The walk will be around 2.1 miles, with plenty of stops to explore the market stalls and pick up some food and drinks.

Please note that this event is weather dependent and the date may change or be cancelled. We will be monitoring the weather forecast closely and any changes will be communicated in advance.

Directions & Meeting Point: We will meet at London Bridge Station between 17:45 and 18:00. The meeting point will be by 'Meet by the Heart' which is off Thomas Street, inside London Bridge station on the main lower concourse near the Ticket Office and opposite WHSmith. The finish point will be at South Bank, which is in close proximity to London Waterloo Station. 

Accessibility: Along the path we are planning to take, there will be stairs which are not accessible. If you have any mobility impairments or physical disabilities which will stop you from joining this social, please let us know so we can re-plan our route to best suit you.

The route along the river and the markets themselves may also be very busy and crowded. We will ensure that we always stand away in more spacious areas from the crowds or will take an alternative route should someone feel uncomfortable.
