YRP London & South East present 'Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Railway Signalling Applications' for Tech Talk Tuesday on RailWeek 2024!

Event Description:

Artificial Intelligence in the form of Machine Learning has developed to a point where it can offer potential solutions for railway signalling and control applications. However, its use in safety-related scenarios remains limited due to the lack of generally accepted means of ensuring its correct behaviour under all circumstances.

At the Talk presented by Roger Short (independent consultant) he aims to:

  • Summarise the basic principles of safety assurance which are the basis of the current state of the art for safety-related software
  • Outline the extent to which these principles are applicable and sufficient for machine learning applications
  • Identify where new or enhanced techniques and measures may be needed to support safety assurance.

There is a max capacity of 20 people, so be sure to register!
