Watercress Line - Sunday 1st December 2024 - Departing at 4.10pm from Alresford Station Following on from the success of the Santa Express at the Great Central Railway last year, we are once again chartering a train for 170 children with disabilities and/or from the care system, their carers and special guests for an illuminated steam train ride along the Watercress Line this Christmas. Join us on our chartered train that will depart Alresford Station at 4.10pm where we will travel to Alton, before returning to Alresford arriving back at around 6pm. Onboard the train, Santa will be onboard to whom will give presents to the children. Applications for FREE tickets closes on October 15th and the ballot (if needed) will be around October 25th.
