Come and join the East Midlands committee for another volunteering day supporting the Class 507 Preservation Group at Alstom's Litchurch Lane facility in Derby.

We will be supporting the group doing some cleaning, sorting and mechanical work on the unit, including helping set up the group's demonstrator camshaft, which shows how traction power is controlled on Class 507s. The day also includes an exciting opportunity to see inside some of the Litchurch Lane facility, to see the train up close and to ask any questions about how it works. 

We will meet at Litchurch Lane's reception at 09:45 ready to start work at 10:00. PPE for the day is safety boots, hi vis vest, goggles and bump cap. 

Numbers are limited to a maximum of 9 attendees, so act now to avoid disappointment! Please ensure you register by Thursday 12th June 17:00.
