Stuart Darney is a Project Manager at Porterbrook, where he leads high-profile rolling stock upgrade and refurbishment programmes across the organisations diverse UK rail fleets.

Starting his career as a welder and draughtsman, Stuart’s time in the British Army proved the springboard into a more meaningful and structured engineering path. With over 20 years of experience delivering complex projects in demanding, safety-critical environments, Stuart now combines hands-on engineering knowledge with strong project leadership.
