The Young Rail Professionals (YRP) London & South East are partnering with the Railway Industry Association (RIA) for an event on accessibility in rail. RIA launched their pioneering thought leadership paper, The Journey to Equality: Creating an Equal Railway for All, earlier this year. The piece argues for a truly inclusive railway that serves all members of the public, analyses the opportunities for innovation in the field, and outlines 5 key asks for Government and the industry. This presentation will be delivered by Robert Hay, Technical & Innovation Advisor, and Emily Budgen, Marketing & Events Executive, at the RIA London Office on Wednesday 22 October. There will be networking with refreshments from 6pm with the presentation commencing at 6.30pm. After the presentation, attendees are more than welcome to continue their networking in The Marquis of Granby pub, which is a 2-minute walk from the RIA office.
