The POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride for children with disabilities, SEN and/or living in care Date – Saturday 15th November 2025 Time – 11:30am – 1pm Address - Bolton Abbey Station, Bolton Abbey, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 6AF Following our successful and popular Christmas trains over the last two years, we are delighted to announce that our annual Christmas train for children in care, disabilities and SEN will be taking place in North Yorkshire this year. This year, we have charted some carriages onboard for The POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride at the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway. This experience, in which based on the award-winning film, will take passengers up to the North Pole (well, Embsay station) with the characters also being onboard giving out hot chocolate and cookies. For the children that have been good this year, they will also get a visit from Santa. For children who need a quieter experience, we have a sensory carriage in which the volume will be reduced. We also have a few spaces available for those in wheelchairs. There will also be a pre-show at Bolton Abbey station before The POLAR EXPRESS™ train departs to the North Pole.
