As part of the Railway 200 celebrations, Transport for Wales and industry partners are hosting a special careers event in Crewe, highlighting the past, present, and future of the railway. The event will feature an exhibition hall with stands from a variety of industry organisations and a programme of workshops designed to inspire young people to consider careers in rail, with a focus on innovation, technology, and sustainability.

Young Rail Professionals Wales will be attending with a stall throughout the day, running interactive interview practice workshops to give students hands-on experience and guidance in preparing for a career in the rail industry.

This event is an excellent opportunity for students aged 14 to 19, as well as anyone interested in the future of rail, to explore career pathways, gain practical advice, and engage with industry experts in a historically significant rail town.
