Join Young Rail Professionals East Midlands for the latest event in our #BeEnspired professional development series, delivered in collaboration with Enspired Consulting Ltd.

Alstom's Litchurch Lane site is the UK's largest train manufacturing facility and has been at the heart of British rail engineering for 150 years. This exclusive site visit will give attendees the chance to tour the factory, gain an insight into modern train manufacturing and learn more about the people, processes and innovation behind rolling stock production.

This event forms part of #BeEnspired, YRP's professional development series delivered in partnership with Enspired Consulting, which provides early-career rail professionals with opportunities to learn directly from industry organisations through technical events, site visits and career development activities.

Two free tours are available on Tuesday 28th July. Places are free but strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The morning tour will feature a presentation and tour of the Elizabeth line production line and a free lunch. The afternoon tour features a tour of the testing facility, a tour of the preserved Class 507 train and a presentation.

PPE: Safety boots, hi-vis vest and a bump cap are required while on site, Alstom can provide hi vis vests and bump caps.Induction: We will send you a link to complete a short online site induction.
