YRP & RBF Virtual Rail Quiz Night!
16 June 2020
Posted by: Fiona Westcough
YRP and RBF would like to thank all of you who attended and took part in the Rail Quiz Night on the 10th June. Of course, a huge thank you to our wonderful host and quizmaster, Pete Waterman.
The event saw over 200 people taking part with participants split across 50 teams. The main purpose of the Quiz was to raise awareness of the amazing work the Railway Benefit Fund are doing to support our rail colleagues and thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise over £1000. If you would like to donate to a great cause, please do so here.
Unfortunately, we did experience some technical issues, which meant a small proportion of people were unable to fully take part in the quiz. Please accept our greatest apologies if this affected you and we hope that this did not affect your enjoyment of the evening too much.
The Top 10 Results are below, along with the Wooden Spoon winner. Congratulations to 'Off the Rails!' to took the top spot! If you are lucky enough to be a winner a member of the YRP will be in touch with you to organise the logistics of getting prizes to you. A reminder of the Prizes;
1st Place: Bottle of Fizz & Team Entry to a YRP Social Event in your region
2nd Place: YRP & RBF Merchandise Packs
